How Dental X-Rays Help in Diagnosis

Dental X-rays allow dentists to see what the eyes can’t. They give a clear picture of the teeth, roots, and surrounding bone, helping us detect problems early before they cause pain or become serious.
X-rays are safe, quick, and use very low radiation levels. They are an important tool to ensure you receive accurate diagnosis and the right treatment at the right time.

With X-rays, we can:

Find hidden cavities between teeth

Check the health of tooth roots and jawbone

Detect infections, abscesses, or cysts

Monitor teeth growth and alignment (especially in children)

Plan treatments such as braces, implants, and extractions

Common Dental Problems and How to Prevent Them
Common dental problems include cavities, gum disease, bad breath, sensitivity, and worn enamel. Most are preventable with good habits: brush and floss daily, use fluoride toothpaste, limit sugar, drink water, and see your dentist regularly—prevention is always easier and cheaper than treatment.
